Will they be eventually moving into a tank with others?
They may have to if I get more babies next season. I can't keep getting more and more tanks for each lot of babies. BUT we will see.

Wow!! What an amazing size difference!! I have a question- do PP's breed readily in captivity? All of the breeding success story's I have heard are about exotics.

April 17th 2017 Day who knows I've lost count. BUT they are about 4mths old now

About a week ago I transferred all the babies from the transition tat to a bigger one (where they were actually conceived and hatched). I thought I had 8 but I found 10. I was happy with that. (I think it was 10 but it may have been 11) They have settled in well as the photos above show. Loving the climbing opportunities and exploring the larger world they now call home. I did leave the heat source on in the transition tat just in case. Lucky decision as........ Now I have a dozen and maybe a bakers dozen....

OMG 2 more babies just surfaced in the trans tat tonight. They are now in the big one. I have sifted through the sand and there are no more. But that makes 12 (maybe 13). I am stoked to say the least. So very very thankful for all the guidance from Natalie van Amstel and the encouragement from this community. Plus the shells that have been sent by people in Aussie to allow these babies a good selection. WOW is all I can say right now.
:cheer:
