Got a good look at Monster's underside this morning when SHE was trying to climb the front glass of the tank.. She is the biggest of the juveniles. You don't grow if you don't eat. BUT I still can't find that prawn tail. Fortunately it was only shell not meat (well maybe scraps of meat)

Can't see any reason to change the name.

She has outgrown the huge shell she picked in February and ignored the 15-18mm shells. I’ve added som 18-20mm but the shell she is checking out quite seriously is 28mm Image

Confirmed only 3 survivors. They were all up so I shifted them to the iso tank I’d set up for my 2 new males (now in main adult tank) and emptied the juvenile tank. All I found was 4 little shells one little bit of toe and one bigger exe limb that can only have come from my adults before I moved them out. Image

Pretty sure Monster is female and V is male but couldn’t get Dotti to come out far enough.

The 4 empty shells goes with the 8 (I thought) I put in from transition tank. So out of thousands of zoea, hundreds of megalopa, dozens of first crabs I’ve ended up with 3 nearly 2 years on.

Well, let's hope in a few years Monster will breed, too! :luck::
5 Indos, 4 Violas, 1 Rugs, 1 E, 5 adult PPs and about 22 breeding's of PPs!
Some other breeding's also, which species is yet not confirmed.
