Ok so they are so hard to get pics of....... in the end I sucked it up in the modded eye dropper and put it on a plastic spoon so you can see and tell me what you think

Nat~ amazing pics! There's such a change. It looks like they are starting to developed the legs! WOW! You just might get these guys to land... How do you find shells that small!? I have always wondered about this process.... Does it give you a time frame? Sooo freakin cool.

I will be combing the beach for teeny tiny shells, its only an hour away, I will visit the area that I find the pheasant shells just in case I stumble across some huge ones


Aussies have an abbreviated aquatic stage so the whole thing will last about 25 days, right now they are turning into megalopa

And yes I have spent so many hours now just staring/watching, I can't take my eyes off of them!!
