He's the only one who has cooperated at all. The first ones I wasn't comfortable enough to mess with them like that; now I think they're both molting. The other one I got today refused to come out at all for several hours, and then went straight to a corner to hide. For some reason I just think of that one as female, the rest I have just thought of as males. They may end up with gender-inappropriate names, lol...

You could name them all Pat!
I had to gender switch names after a few months. I thought I had all makes, but it was actually about half and half, I ended up with a Spikette, Kratosa, and a Filberta/Filomina (depended on how I was feeling

She ended up just being Fil in the end).

That is a great picture and, as @wodesorel said, the perfect angle!
I've been able to sex all of the crabs I've had over the years (all but the current Mr Pinch) and, surprisingly,
all have been male. That's a good thing, though, as I always give my crabs male names
