Should I breed hermit crabs?

I really like hermit crabs and have 1 at the moment, next I week I am getting 3 more. I had an idea that breeding hermit crabs would be a good idea. Do you think that it would be a good idea and if so what are some things I need to know before actually start breeding?

You could try, but it's extremely difficult. A lot of water quality and aeration information that you need to know. I think some really experienced crabbers know a lot more than I do. Calla? Wode?

Unfortunately it is next to impossible. I am taking notes myself because if any of mine show up carrying eggs I want to try. There have only been a history of less than a handful of these babies making it ans even then getting them to land was like I said almost impossible.

Check out this thread:

Breeding them isn't difficult but raising the babies to land is extremely difficult. Only a handful of people in the world have successfully done it. Most die before they're ready for land.

Like @KellyCrabbyLove said, it is near impossible to get them to land & there has only been a few people who have done it. The zoea will usually die & it can be pricey.
I might attempt breeding hermit crabs in a couple of years and hopefully by that time there is more successful breeding so I can take more notes
