They are a little smaller than the big food mites, and they are more tan-ish brown and more elongate. They aren't huge fans of the high temps in the crab tank, so they go in the soil a little bit and under things. I thought all mine had died until I lifted up some old leaf matter and found a ton of them.

It took me a week to finally spot them. I was beginning to wonder if I had been sold a canister of dirt lol. Once I managed to spot them, I've found that it's a bit easier to pick them out. They are a light brown and have an elongated head.sdevine wrote:Hey----Tiger or Wolf can you easily see your hypos?
