A few weeks ago I added some wood from my superworm breeding tank into the crab tank and you can see where this is going... I didn't clean it well enough and now I have a large amount of superworm in the sand living in the crab tank. I have a large tank with over a foot of sand and at least 3-4 molters at all times do a full clean out isn't really an option. So are these harmful? Should I be worried about them getting to the molters or do I just let them do their thing? I've been picking out the ones I find on the surface but it's not to effective, there seem to be at least 3 or 4 baby superworms every inch at the surface which I feel like will get out of control when they get big, any advice?

Re: Superworm in substrate
Keep pulling them as you find them, at the very least once they pupate into beetles. They can and will reproduce in moist substrate! I haven't brought a superworm into my house in three years and I'm still finding new larvae in two of my gecko tanks.
