Isopods still alive

So I put about twenty or so isopods in my 29 gallon tank about two months or so ago. I thought they were all dead cause I had not seen any in awhile. Then today I picked up my crabs food bowl and I saw one large one and what appeared to be a baby running around. So I guess for now they are still alive but they are far from thriving. I would for sure like to know where they are hiding out at.

Mine like to hide under wood structures, in the moss pit and under the oyster shells I have in the tank

Oh and I found a whole batch of babies behind the coco wall!

The Isopods do a great job of hiding. When I lift the food bowl, there may be just a few to many under it, but they disappear in seconds. Before I can even put a fresh dish of food in.

Yeah. And if I have one baby there are probably more hiding somewhere.
