I just put in fresh food for my guys. I checked on it 30 minutes later and see this!
A bigger isopod drug a piece of gammarus shrimp out of the dish! Now there are 5 or 6 of them chomping down on it! I'm pretty sure they are devouring a good bit of the crabs foods before the crabs get to it.
Any advice on this one? I'm thinking of some way to raise the foods off the ground so they cant get to it. Did anyone else have any issues like this?

Re: Isopods Devouring Crabs Food!
My isopods carry off puffed rice from my food dish and they always seem to devour minnows before the crabs get to them. I don’t worry about it, there’s always plenty of food in the tank.
I don’t know if raising the food dish would actually help either! I have a second level shell shop that can only be accessed by climbing a vine/garland type thing and I’m always finding my isopods inside the shells up there.
