No More Digging

Ever since I introduced isopods to my rank, my hermit crabs completely stopped digging, and one of my crabs is very overdue for a molt. Is this a coincidence or should I remove the isopods asap?

And how would I go by doing this?

I would take the isopods out just to be safe, at least temporarily. To catch the isopods, I would probably do a full clean-out of the tank, because even if you only put a few in there the isopods can quickly breed, and then you have a LOT of isopods lol

To take out the isopods i would probably change the substrate and use the old substrate for isopod breeding/storing :D

what species of pod do you have? Some dig more than others so depending on what type, that could affect how well they co-hab with the hermits too
