Anything good on Amazon?

Hermit crabs are sneaky creatures. They do a lot that we don't think they do when we aren't watching. We also have no way of truly knowing what they're thinking. So they might seem fine with certain things, but they are very tolerant animals, in the end.

I agree with the others suggesting to upgrade soon. Offering more space and deeper substrate will be very beneficial to them in the longrun. When it comes to hermit crabs, I don't think it's ever truly "good enough" for them; poor things are wild-caught, so going from a vast and endless amount of space in the wild to a small enclosure is a major step back for them. We just have to try to do what's best for them.

i bought a whole bunch of things off amazon today, including substrate, and i bought some strawberries, grapesz, and blueberries for treats at Shoprite a hour ago ! Hopefully i can get a 20g for easter, and keep upgrading each holiday!!!

If possible I highly suggest going with a 29 gallon instead of a 20. I feel they are a great starter/ smaller tank for 4 or 5 small crabs. They also have a good amount of ground and climbing space too! At 30L x 12 W x 19 T it only take up a little more room than a 20. I just really like the dimensions and possibilities.

Not sure what the prices are on Amazon for freeze dried fruit, but I like to buy the $1 bag of freeze dried fruits at the grocery store. Then I put them in my food processor and grind them up into a powder which lasts a long time.

I got a $100 gift card for Christmas, and I was wondering if you all had any suggestions on some good products I could buy on there? My birthday's a few days away, and I think I'm getting an Etsy gift card, too. I noticed some of you, Like GotButterflies, have organic food stores on there that I'm definitely going to purchase some food from, as well as some other things. But anything on Amazon that you think is worth buying? (I'm going to order some of ChollaQueen's food on there tonight, as well as some moss and suction cups for a second level moss pit, some sea sponges, Zoomed calcium supplement, and some bowls for my ISO tank as well as my reg).

- Mini digital thermometer / hygrometer
- Cuttlebone

Things that were better to get locally / other places:
Food - etsy, local
Hamster wheel - cheaper at petstore, and you can test them out
Sand - too heavy for delivery - get it at local hardware store
Heat tape - local reptile stores
Tanks - local used ads (good price is $/gallon or less)
Lids - Local glass store
Egg crate - local hardware store
Zip ties, suction cups - dollar stores
