How to stack tanks

Post by Hermiehomes4Gretchen » Sun May 24, 2020 6:29 pm

I'm looking to stack a small tank on my 20 gal because its 12 inches high and barely enough for sub depth. People tell me to stack but I'm not sure what they mean. How do I do that?

I just did that stacking a tank on to my 20. I used a 2.5 gallon tank placed it upside down on the 20 and used clear packing tape to hold it.Image

The only problem is that the regular lids would not fit correctly now so I had my dad make me a custom plexiglass lid. Other then that I think that it’s a great idea. You could use a bigger tank for the topper it just would be harder to constantly change food and water. Also remember to measure correctly and you should be fine. Hope it helpedImage
