Should I get more hermies
I recently received two hermit crabs from a lady who no longer wished to care for them, and i was wondering if I should get them some friends. They have been together by themselves for 4+ years and have had little to no exposure with other crabs. Just wondering if that would cause a lot of fighting or stress.

you could get another one
and there’s things you could do to properly introduce them like dipping the new one in one of the water bowls and/ or keeping him in isolation for a week or so just to get his used to his new surroundings

It may, but usually if you dip them in the same water to make them smell similar they’ll get along.
It’s up to you. I think your pair would do just fine either way.

How big is the tank they are in and how big are they? Can you fit more crabs?
