Koda is the tiniest crab I've ever owned. about as big as my thumbnail. When I got her ( a few months ago) she was in a shell that fit her perfectly. She recently went down to molt (I assume?). Before she went down, she changed into a shell 3x her size. It's sooooo big. She goes wayyyyy into the back of the shell. So, when she was molting, I got 4 extra tiny shells that would fit her. She came up a few days ago, and she still hasn't even been interested in the new shells.
What should I do? It looks hard for her to move around in it.
Thanks!

I wouldn't be too worried. Some crabs just like big baggy pants! We have a few crabs take shells we would never expect since "WE" thought they would be too big. As long as you have several choices I wouldn't be too concerned.

I’ve had almost the same thing happen. Over a year later he has grown into his “too big” shell. But it actually seemed like he grew into it rather quickly. It’s just been over a year at this point.
