Amazing!!!!

Got to watch my first shell change in real life today! I’ve noticed one of my crannies has changed into a new shell the other day and has been going back and forth between the new one and his old shell. Well today I caught him in his old one again, which he had just changed into from the new one not long before this, and I stood there and watched and i got to witness him change back into the new one. It was amazing! But I wonder why he won’t make up his mind and is it normal to change that much lol.

I have seen my crabs change and it is truly fascinating! Yes it is normal they are just deciding if they like it or not.

It's always fascinating watching them change shells! Especially being able to see their crabby butts and additional legs.

Some crabs are divas and love to shop! Some of our crabs are protective of their old shells. If a crab shows interest in the old one they will guard a push other crabs away. I guess it's like when you feed two dogs in separate bowls. If one is eating the other needs to eat from the same bowl even though they are the same!
