molting at same time??

Post by hermitsssss » Fri May 31, 2024 4:49 pm

i currently have 5 hermit crabs in a 30 gallon tank, and three of them have gone under, and have been under, for 4 days, some chirping has been going on and one I know for sure is molting, because he dug a hole against the glass and i can see him- no death smell, just curious is this is normal

Yes it is normal for more then one crab to be molting. I currently have three molting at the same time as well. So no worries!
