I have had the same crab for over a year now or to be precise about 14 months and yesterday was his first molt with me. Is he supposed to molt more frequently? Is there a chance I am doing something wrong? He has a pellet diet but I sometimes give him peas and corn. If you have any suggestions I would be glad to hear them, please.

How large is your crab? Smaller crabs should absolutely molt more frequently, but large crabs may not.
What are your temp and humidity readings?
How deep is your substrate, and what are you using?
Did he dig underneath the substrate to molt, or is he on the surface?
Crabs need a varied diet, what you are feeding won't provide all the nutrition needed for long term care. If you haven't looked at our care sheets yet, check out the 'basics' one first, then the 'nutrition' one.
