What kind of crab do I have??

Thank you for the advice!! I will try and be more hands off!! I do have to open the tank and replace food/water though. I hope that isn’t to stressful.

I only replace my food/water once or twice a week.

Really? I been replacing water ever 2-3 days and food every other day because it starts to mold!!

I also do my water once/week (or if it gets sandy/poopy). I usually change my dry foods 2x/week, and add in extra if it gets eaten quickly. I make up both meals at the same time for both tanks. I store their second meal in a Tupperware container. That seems to work pretty well. It saves me a lot of time in the middle of the week when I'm the most tired. I can just take their old dishes out and pop the new ones in. The thing that gets moldy on me the fastest is worm castings. To help with this, I took the whole bag of castings and left them out on dishes to dry out, then put them back in the bag (I bought in bulk, a 5lb bag). When they're not moist, they don't mold as fast.
