Hi guys , I'm looking at adopting a crab . I just need to know how to prepare the travel container for the guy as I would be getting him from San antonio which is about 8 hours away from me. I am thinking a tote with some moist substrate will be okay.

A tote with some moistened moss would be great.

I have to be careful when I touch moss .. Handling it caused breathing issues in the past and I don't want a repeat.. Perhaps my husband can do the moss placing for me ..

How about using straight, moistened EE instead?

That's what I did for bringing my guys home. It was only an hour drive, but they enjoyed making it a mess lol

Yep, moistened substrate will be just fine. I said moss only because it's light and my crabs love it (for hiding and snacking) but cocofiber is good too.
