Good tank conditions just my "healthy" hermit crab smells like the death smell.

:( I admit I've panicked over the 'deathsmell' but no, its just food. I have a serial food stasher. She hasn't done it in a while but only because she is buried

2 small pp, smeegle (m), shellshock (m); 1 small/medium pp, shelldon (f), 1 medium/large pp, Godzilla (m)
1 dog, bender the min pin. And one betta named Henry. I dont know if its a boy or a girl, its still pretty young.

I put her close to my nose away from the tank and she smelt like dead fish, they haven't had seafood this week. :smt108

Could be some rotting food stuck in the shell? Possible bacterial infection of a wound that doesn't show? Is this smell new to the crab?
