This little guy has been down for quite some time. I think he's been topside for maybe a few days, a week. Doesn't seem to have grown at all. But I'm concerned about the upper part of his legs look like jelly. Did he come up too soon?ImageImageImage

I just spent some time trying to google answers for u but came up with nothing we didn’t know already. I’m sorry. Hang in there, someone will speak up with great info soon. Sorry I couldn’t be more helpful.

Are you referring to the upper section of the leg? It looks normal to me. A freshly molted crab will have a pink tint. It doesn't look like that to me. It's pretty common for paler colored crabs to have that coloring toward their body. I wouldn't worry too much. They usually know when it's safe for them to come up :)

Maybe his exo isn't completely hardened yet. They look shiny from the pics. I don't think you have anything to worry about. Make sure they have calciums to eat. That is important for them. It helps with their exo.

That's what I thought but was worried. No one is going after him so I guess he's safe. Thanks.

Thanks. I figured he would know when to come up but thought maybe he was hungry. Lol
