HCA: Hermit Crab Association

I circled the area in question in red, but I've noticed Tukiyo has been having this very pale part of her head? It's close to the mouth parts, and it looks slightly bloated in a sense it puffs up though- I don't think its on her other side too, so any thoughts?

I’m not familiar with this phenomenon.

If it’s an injury of some sort it will likely begin to heal over with the next molt.

It doesn't seem to be an injury, or atleast from what I can tell. It's not a parasite either since it doesn't actively move/ and is not ontop of the gills.
