Flies have infested tank in the matter of a few days, with larvae, I cleaned the whole tank Out and washed everything but now they’re back, are they dangerous to my crabs? And how do I get rid of them?
Please help, I’ve run out of solutions

Are they house flies or gnats?
You can scoop larvae with a spoon. Refrain from feeding fresh foods. Only feed dry foods. Only place food in the tank at night when the crabs are most active.
If they are fungus gnats, type fungus gnats in the search bar of our website and you will be able to see all of the threads on how people have handled them.

Good luck!

I don’t think they are fungus gnats, they have a bulbous body, it doesn’t look like any pics I’ve seen, but they’re too small to be an average house fly

They’re not fruit flies, are they? They’ll keep coming back so long as they’re around.
Your best bet is to grab the adults before they reproduce with a vinegar trap. You can find instructions to make them online.
