Hey guys! Just as the title asks, I was wondering if a 29 Gallon Tank a good size for three hermies? My herms have been okay in their 10g, and I can't thank you all enough for this website, because these are the healthiest hermits I've ever cared for :) But, they're all about the size of a golfball (one has molted twice and the other two are molting right now), and I can finally start working in March. Where I am, the minimum wage will be 12$ as of 2021, so I'd like to get them a new tank before the end of May, at the latest. What do you guys think would be the best fit for them? Would a 29 gallon be able to fit all of them the rest of their lives, or would I have to upgrade again? In 3-4 or so years, I'm going to be moving out of the country for college, and want to be able to care for them until then (and if they're all (hopefully) well and thriving, I'd like to give them a loving home with one of the members here, if anyone's open for it :) ) Thanks in advance for any responses, my fellow crabbers <3
edit: these are the tank/top i was thinking of purchasing!

A 29g should last them for a number of years, but as they get bigger you may want to upgrade to a larger tank (say a 40g breeder) to keep em happy.

I have 3 PPs in a 29 gallon right now. All of mine are in shells between 3/4"-1" openings, so not particularly small crabs. It's more than enough room for now, but do imagine in a few years I'll need another upgrade for them. If yours are of similar size, I'd say it's a good size to work with. :)

I love 29 gallon tanks! We have two! I think they are perfect for 3-4 golf ball sized crabs. 29's are a great in-between size for height and ground space without doubling the length!
