HCA: Hermit Crab Association

Hello all,
Today I found an odd substance in the cork round and shell shop.
I think it's water, I think a crab took a dip and it got mixed with the sand to make this gloop.
I know it's not honey or mollases because I don't feed either.
Thoughts?

The image looks like it could be a mixture of earthworm castings and hermit crab poop. That got wet. I honestly don’t think it’s anything to worry about, but hopefully someone else will join in so you can get multiple opinions.
