HCA: Hermit Crab Association

Hello,

I am currently planning to give away my hermit crab supplies (my hermit crabs passed away a while ago and I cannot get new ones right now). Before I give the stuff away (dishes, shelters, shells, etc.) I want to make sure I give them a nice clean. I know not to use chemicals to clean, but do you think just submerging these items in hot water will do the trick? Or clean with vinegar? I don't have enough fresh water solution at the moment so any other tricks would work if there are any

You can just use soap and tap water for most of it. Anything organic like wood that will absorb water can just be air-dried, baked, or boiled.
