I just adopted 2 (waiting on the third) hermit crabs and I noticed that on the end of there legs it turns slightly white at the very end. Only one of my past hermit crabs are up right now and she doesn’t have it and I don’t remember my other crabs having that either. The crabs seem to be very healthy and happy, there very active and love to climb. I was thinking it may just be because of lack of foods with natural colour enhancers but I may be wrong. Just thought I would ask in case!

Re: White on end of legs
Exo wears down over time and will turn white. Most crabs in captivity molt before they get to that point so it's never really noticeable, but newly caught wild crabs and sometimes rescued crabs who haven't molted in a while will show the wear and tear on their feet this way. It's not harmful! It'll fix itself with the next molt.
