mites going at exoskeletons?

this is a rather odd question, but over the summer i've thought ab it-- do harmless mites and springtails feed off of exoskeleton? a rather random question, i'll be surprised if anyone answers with a guess (or a fact haha). i hope everyone is doing well too! this crabber hasn't been so active due to psats and the like

I would say that they might since they eat anything leftover in the tank. Just a guess though!

I would think so too. But maybe they’d do it more slowly since one of the factor in them being harmless is that they don’t generally burrow deep enough to hurt molters, so they might not be down there as much?
