hello!!
this morning Bart finally came up after 3 months of molting. He looked wonderful! I found him trying on another shell. I have a big bowl of shells in the corner. And he left the shell he was trying on untouched. He went to stay in my coconut he has. I go to school. I come back from school and I still find him in the coconut but he shell is empty and he is no where to be found. I really don’t know what happened. He just came back from molting and apparently went down again, but im unsure he took any shell with him. I dont know where he dug at and I cant dig him up because i have 3 other molting hermits. I dont know what I’m supposed to do.
He looked extremely healthy, i dont see why he would he streaking, if he is. thank you.

In a situation like this, a crab has almost always taken a shell and not buried naked. That said, if this happens again, you should isolate your naked crab with a couple of shells (as per the naked crab care sheet). Do you have any other crabs above ground right now?
