Molting crabs?

I have three hermit crabs. One I always see, the other two I haven’t seen in at least 2 months. No foul smell. Do you think they are molting? Is this too long to molt?

Chances are they are still molting. Crabs like to take their time, so just be patient. Either way, don't dig them up. If they are molting, they could get hurt. If they are dead, digging them up won't help anything. Patience.

Ok. I’ll be patient. It’s just been really long. And wouldn’t the tank smell if I had two dead hermit crabs?

Not if they are buried. The smell won't travel through the sub.

Two months isn't "really long" when it comes to crabs being underground. LOL. At least four months before you start to worry - and even then, they might have come up for an hour when you weren't looking, and gone right back down.

Ok. I’ll give it a few more months. Then list again. Lol
