HCA: Hermit Crab Association

I wanted to give my hermies some cherries, but they contain cyanid so i was jot sure if it was safe for the hermies and if i should take out the pit or just give it to them whole

If you put it in whole, I doubt they would eat the pit. But if you want to just pop it out before putting the cherry in, that would be fine too. I'm certain I have put in apple cores including the seeds, and they just didn't eat the seeds.
