Sad questions

So, I'm honestly in tears writing this. I went through a bout of some serious depression that lasted 6-7 months, and my poor babies have suffered for it. I hardly watered them, the water bowls were dry a lot, and I only fed them every week or other week. Maybe once or twice they went a month without feeding or new water. Now I've finally managed to get myself out of my depression and I've secured a new bigger tank and will be setting it up and am wondering how likely it is my sweet little crabs are okay. I had a jumbo, 3 mediums and a small. I never smelled any sort of fishy smells and I at least kept the temp and humidity constant. I've only really seen one medium out lately and I'm really worried. I feel so horrible for what I've put them through...

Don't be too hard on yourself, you did the best that you were able to at that point in time.
Now that you are feeling better, take one step at a time and set up the new tank. Then transfer over the crab who is up. If you can maintain two tanks, you might want to keep both tanks going for a bit - put in some nice smelling food (popcorn!) and see if anyone surfaces. If nobody does, then you may want to start digging for anyone who might be underground. Be prepared to isolate any live crabs you come across who might be molting.
If any crabs have passed away, you may not have smelled them if they were underground. Know that they would not have suffered if they passed away while down - they would have simply run out of energy and not been able to complete their molt.
Keep us posted on how it goes, and be sure to be gentle with yourself.
