I don’t know if there’s a post on this already.
Basically, I own a 20 gallon aquarium and am currently in the process of prepping for receiving my first hermit crabs.
In my area, purple pinchers aren’t a possibility. The only ones here are either Violas or Indos. There isn’t a lot of information out on these species so I need help on making the choice.
How many should I have of these? How many can I accommodate? Which species would thrive better in my 20 gallon?
I’m feeling more on the side of getting indos because I’ve heard that they’re more active at daytime than violas but I really don’t mind
Thanks!

See link for stocking rates. Any species will do okay for a few years provided they don’t start out too big for the tank
