Do hermit crabs need exercise?
So I was wondering, do hermit crabs need exercise? Should I get my crabs a wheel for them to walk on? I was wondering this because I saw some post about exercise being good for hermit crabs due to them being able to walk on beaches for miles. The post was from r/hermitcrabs so maybe not the most reliable.
I love my two cool crabs Zote and Fizban.
And my cats Echo and Smudge.

I wonder about this, too. I bought a little hermit crab wheel a couple months ago. They’ve def checked it out but they don’t use it as it’s intended to be used. Sometimes one will sit in it for a while, but that’s it. 
I wonder if my guys are just lazy.
