Orange stuff on air stone tube in SW?
When I did my weekly water change, I noticed orange slimy stuff on the tube to the air stone in the SW pool. It was only on the one in the SW, and I'm curious as to what it may be? It was easy to wipe off.

Mine gets this, too. It's just something like algae or a slime mold from the warmth and water. I wipe it off every week and don't worry about it.

Thank you, I just wanted to make sure it wasn't anything harmful and couldn't find anything on Google about it. It probably just popped up now because I insulated the sides of the tank for the colder months so I guess the water bowls must be warming up a little. I haven't had too many problems for awhile and want it to stay that way, if you know what I mean.mlakers wrote:Mine gets this, too.
