Question about water and air stones

Post by hermityhannah » Wed Apr 28, 2021 8:52 am

1. So I currently give my hermit crab water from a water purifier that my family uses for drinking water.(so it's not tap water) but is water conditioner essential?
2. I bought all the things needed for airstones in a water pool but it is quite loud... I wonder if it's only mine that does this? Is there a reason for it and can I fix it?
It would really help if anyone could answer these questions!

It's a good idea to treat all water, just in case there is chloramine that slips though. It only takes a drop and a bottle can last forever.

I find airpumps to be extremely loud, no matter what I do with them. I rarely see crabbers complaining so I figure I'm just sensitive?
