Fish?

If I were to get a really large tank at some point in the future, and if I got a large water dish, could I keep small fish in it? Would the crabs eat the fish?

I personally would not. You would have to make sure that the fish has all it needs too. For example, if you had a betta, you would need a filter, heater, at least 5 gallons of space, and a lot of other things. Plus the fish are basically ammonia generators, which probably wouldn't be healthy for the crabs. Plus the crabs might drop some poo in there, which wouldn't be healthy for the fish.
Basically it just sounds exhausting and not worth it to me.

Maybe you could put the fish tank beside the crab's or something, so they can look at eachother.

My Mom doesn't want to have fish, so I thought the crab tank might be a good way to convince her to get some.
But I don't think it would be worth the effort to keep them together
