marimo moss ball?

Post by imallsmiles1431 » Mon Aug 18, 2014 7:53 am

Hi!

I have a huge fresh water container for my hermies. Would it be safe to put a marimo moss ball in it? I already have a water filter.

thanks!

Hello there,

I'm so sorry for the delay in a reply. If all that is, is algae, I do not think that there would be any harm to the crabs from it.

I agree with Rebecca C, it should be safe as it is an algae.
I also believe that some crabbers have added marimo balls into their pools without problems.
