I purchased Top Fin brand Liquid Saltwater Concentrate. The lady at Petsmart said it was safe for hermit crabs, but I wanted to check here before using it.

Re: Is Top Fin Liquid Saltwater Concentrate safe?
I went diving through saltwater and reef forums to see if I can find anything about it, and there's maybe a dozen topics out there. I'm not sure if it's because of the price - it seems to be a lot more expensive then powdered, or if the saltwater people don't trust it because it is Top Fin. I personally wouldn't since the salt water people don't. Marine fish are extremely sensitive and quick to die when the wrong products are used. Anything that is safe for them are safe for crabs.

Thanks so much for wading through all those forums in search of an answer.
I'm definitely going to return the concentrated saltwater.
