Salt water

Will this soaking salt that I bought from Pet smart work as salt water? :o

They need marine grade saltwater, so something like Instant Ocean. What you have isn't necessarily harmful, but it doesn't have all the required minerals and such that Instant Ocean will provide.

How big are your water dishes? I would say a minimum of every other day, and daily if they drag a bunch of junk into it. Ammonia levels can build up quickly with dirty water, which is harmful to your crabs.

Hi! They really need dishes large enough to submerge in. Maybe a small margarine tub or even yogurt containers or reusable glad bowls would be available to you? As long as they have a way out like a plastic mesh ramp or plant they will be fine! The tiny dishes should be changed daily.
