Hi
![Smile :)](./images/smilies/icon_smile.gif)
I have a Zoo Med "Repti Rock" Corner Bowl (12" long on each straight edge) and I want to put a divider in so that I can have one side with fresh water and one side with salt water. Does anyone have an idea how I could do this and have it water-tight, while still being safe for my crabs?
I've included a picture of the dish, for some reason:

I was gonna say something similar. A piece of plastic secured with aquarium silicone

Silicon probably won't stick to that kind of plastic. I can't think of a way to do it... Maybe two-part epoxy? Even that will probably peel off though. The repti-rocks are made of some seriously slick stuff.

you could rough up the surface with some sandpaper or scratch it with something sharp.

Maybe just put a smaller bowl/plastic container inside... Bowl inside a bowl - that can be taken apart?

We tried the silicone/plexiglass idea. Seems to be water-tight, but haven't put it in the enclosure yet.
