Water bowl question

I like more of a natural look in my crabitat. Would it be acceptable to use the Aquarian pebbles/gravel in the bottom of a water bowl to help the crab climb out. Not thr painted kind but the river rocks.

I have pebbles in the bottom of mine, not glued, bit also a craft mesh ramp.

They are fine as long as they don’t have a glossy finish to them.
Edit: some river pebbles are polished with a machine. Some are shiny because of paint. Do not use the kind that have a clear coat on them.

Alrigbt. Thanks when I pick some up my next paycheck I will be sure to look closely at the bag
