Bubblers Vs. Filters

I am going to upgrade the pools in my crabitat, What is the opinions on using bubblers vs actual Filters?

Imo go with what you can afford and pool size in question. Smaller pools to better with airstones, while larger pools (min of a gallon would be my cut off) to where I start thinking about filters.
