New to cycling water, need advice

Post by IcedPineapple » Thu Jun 06, 2024 9:42 pm

Hey, I'm getting some new crabs soon and am setting up their tank. I want to make their water dishes really nice, hook up a filter and do bubbles and all that. I've never done anything like that before, and want some advice. They're going in a 20 gallon (3 real small guys) so their water containers won't be huge, maybe 2 sets of 3-4 inches each dimension? What kind of filters and bubble makers do you guys recommend for that small of a set up? They're ecuadorians, which I've never had before, and I've read they especially like salt water so I want to make it perfect for them.

For water bowls that small your best bet would be small sponge filters. They are often hooked up to air pumps so they’ll function as bubblers too
