Hi All,
New to crabbing here... Been at this for about 1 month.. Ive got a 29 gallon with 3 small and 1 medium PP's.
My crabitat is spread out with about 6-8 inches of EE on one end and 6-8 inches Play sand on the other end, with a nice mixing where they meet...
So for about 15 days now my first small PP Sebastien has been buried where the EE and Sand mix and meet...and today I found my medium Tomatoa buried under the salt water pool deep in the sand end, he is close enough to the glass I can see his cave...
I am hoping everything is going normally..... Is it common for them to choose different substrates to molt in....he had dug some holes this last week in the 3 different types testing them out I guess.... I guess I just assumed he would just pick the EE or the mix like Sebastien, but he went for the straight sand...
This is exciting.. I'm hoping we make it through our fist molt successfully...
Thanks again all!!!
I think we are molting....?
