Hermie Still Pale after Molting
One of my purple pincher hermit crabs, Boba, molted quite a few weeks ago, but he's still a kind of pale peach color. I've heard before that PP's can be a peachy color sometimes, but I thought it would be more like they would be peach color when they were younger then turn red and purple when they're older. Boba was red and purple before he molted, so I'm kind of worried. He still seems to be very active, which is good

They usually turn peachy/ pale after molting. They get their color through foods, offer foods that will bring their color in (like carrots)

Crabs will change color over their lifespan. Foods really don't have anything to do with it.

Okay, thank you! I was worried that he might be sick because apparently they sometimes lose color when they're sick but Boba was still super active, so he's probably fine
