A Female Komurasaki/Sunset Molted - With Intact Exo
She had previously lost one of her walking legs - and all her leg tips were cut:
Hermit crab lover since 1981
Founder of "Blueberry land hermit crab" - common name for Coenobita purpureus, and "Zebra Sunset land hermit crab" for a new subspecies of Coenobita violascens

September - November are molting seasons for Indonesian land hermit crabs. Yesterday I caught one of my female large indo molted.

Sunrise = light phased Coenobita perlatus ( "C.pseudorugosus" is a misidentification by a Japanese scientist since he had never seen light / candy-striped colored strawberries ).
