My first crab to go down! Yay!

Post by Guest » Mon Mar 03, 2008 8:48 am

We have had our crabs for two weeks - 'tat is all good and they seem pretty active.

One - Boba - a PP dug down and is about 2 inches down and completely covered - we can see one leg on back side of tank.

I don't have an ISO yet but I am confident she is okay - drank a lot, bathed before she went down.

I shouldn't do anything but sit and wait, right? She is in there with 4 other PPs and 1 E.

Thanks - you guys are awesome with advice.

I've had two molts in my main tank, and so far everyone's been fine. Tetra had advised me to make a barrier out of CD cases for my surface molter, and if you're worried about your PP you could do the same since you can see roughly where she is. But if things seem normal and the other crabs don't try to dig her up, I'd say just let her be.

Good luck on the molt! :wootjump:
