newly molted and now almost out of his shell

my crab molted, he was under for 3-4 weeks and came up 2 days ago. this morning i noticed him half dug in the sand and now 9 hours later he is in the same spot but now almost all out of his shell. what do i do, i don't want to hurt him but i don't want him to die!! please anyone any help would be appreciated

Is your temperature to hot? Sometimes they do hang out of their shells for that reason...

my temp is 78-80 degrees, i think this is good, right?

oh i forgot to mention his soft tail, i guess that what you call it, it's his farthermost part that's used to always be in the shell, it is yellow! is this normal and am i even posting under the right topic? if not please feel free to move it to the proper one as i don't know how to do it. thanks again.
