Three legged PP molting!!!

Post by Guest » Wed Jul 02, 2008 12:42 am

My cute little Pi whom i rescued from a small kiosk. He only has his pinchers and one leg. Well.. He has finaly molted.

i saw him laying in his iso.. hanging out of his shell.
but on closer examination i realized that it was his hollow exo.
hes doing alright.. but hasnt come out of his shell yet.. i noticed it yesterday.
and i was wondering how long they take for their exo's to harden?

Congrats on the molt!

The exo usually hardens within a few hours after molting, but the crab recovers normal activity within 2-4 weeks.

I'd keep it in isolation for about a month, if not more.

Let us know how he's doing, and how many legs he has when he's done.
